You can leave it this way, or you can treat it with an oil/product of your choice. It is also stained with a permanent stain. The dangler is handmade in Spokane, Washington. Our leather sheaths are hand dyed with two different colors of dye. We had a choice of buying pre-dyed leather or dying by hand. Hand dying won (ahem...) hands down. Each sheath will look unique. You want your shoes to look identical. You want your sheaths to look different. We intentionally dye these by hand with antiquing and a variegated, mottled look. You will see spots in the finish (the finish, not the leather) that look worn from years of care. We make them that way on purpose. After we d
